SELFDIVISION
“Possessing a power both in her artistry and femininity, SelfDivision is a master of her own sound, moulding her influences to her will.”
— Happy Mag, 2024
SelfDivision
SelfDivision is the moniker of Jessica Fitzgibbon, a talented singer, songwriter & producer hailing from Sydney, Australia. With her haunting voice and hypnotic melodies, she blends electronica and trip-hop, exploring themes that interweave the natural world and relationships. Her music has drawn comparisons to influential artists such as Portishead, Massive Attack and Bjork.
A classically trained vocalist and musician, SelfDivision’s musical journey began at a young age and has taken her through a variety of genres, from classical music and opera, to alternative rock and jazz. Her influences are eclectic, with Radiohead, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey and FKA Twigs just a few of the artists she cites as favourites.
SelfDivision has just released her new single Our Love; a sensitive trance track from her upcoming debut album scheduled for release in 2025. Off the back of her debut EP ENIGMA, a record that explores the polarity of desire, Our Love is propelled by the strength of SelfDivision’s previous world building.
